Integracja Aplikacji Biznesowych

Typically, the following Business Systems cannot communicate with one another in order to share data or business rules:

  • CRM - Customer Relationship Management;
  • SCM - Supply Chain Management;
  • HR - Human Resources;
  • BI - Business Intelligence.

The various systems that need to be linked together often reside on different operating systems, use different database solutions and different computer languages, and in some cases are legacy systems.

Enterprise Applications Integration - is the process of linking together applications within a single organization in order to simplify and automate business processes. It is associated with a framework composed of a collection of technologies and services which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise.
At its highest level, application integration can be divided into two essentially different approaches:
  • Process Integration - the integration of the functional flow of processing between the applications.
  • Data Integration - the integration of the information used by applications.
Businesses developing a solution needing the following characteristics should consider using the Enterprise Application Integration:
  • The business process needs to be integrated with existing business systems and information.
  • The business processes need to integrate with processes and information that exist at partner organizations.
  • The business activity has a need to aggregate, organize, and present information from various sources within and outside of the organization.
Patterns for e-business (see Business Patterns) are a group of reusable assets that can help speed the process of developing web-based applications:
  • Business Patterns;
  • Integration Patterns;
  • Composite Patterns.
